Zoe Chien is an actor, model, and arts administrator. She received her BFA in Theater from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Playwrights Horizons Theater School, and the Stonestreet Studios for Television and Film. Her work includes theater, film, television, commercial, print, voiceover, and runway.

 

Zoe is the Casting and Producing Director at 3Girls Theatre Company. She is a PlayGround company member and an Associate Producer for the 2024/25 PlayGround season.

 

She feels lucky to be in this industry at a time when so much art is being made in response to our social and political climate, and is proud to represent her mixed-race Taiwanese and Italian-American community. She is especially inspired by projects that explore identity and celebrate women and traditionally under-represented communities.
